i feel sad
i feel icky
i'm not a poet
and i damn sure know it



its never easy to say goodbye
even when
you are as experienced and skilled as i

more time that flies
more hopes that die

so you can look yourself in the eye

but your mind is dark
and you wonder why
on and on your heart does sigh

perhaps you look thru the so proud eye
and on and on that time still dies
hopes are those on which you lie

to lie, to lie is not to fly
because what can you do with 3 closed eyes
