i'm in a shopping center parking lot.
not a 1/2 mile from school.
waiting for AAA b/c i have a flat fuckin tire.
Fabulous....

....so i finally got my creative writing piece back from Nestler today.
she said she'd leave it for me to pick up in her mailbox,
but she was actually in her office when i got there.

which was good, b/c i got to talk to her about it,
and i most often get a nice ego boost whenever i talk to her one-on-one about my writing.

she's now read 7 pieces of mine since last fall,
and still thinks i'm talented.
whoulda thunk?
lol.

of course, there are always edits, corrections, parts she doesn't dig so much.
but such is the life of a "writer" ya know,
an "artist" even.
yeah, ok, i'm getting a little carried away.
heh.

but, being that i'm me and everything--
(and have been known to react quite defensively occasion to (even constructive) criticism)
--i think i handle it well.

the ego-stroking that outweighs it helps of course.
hah.
