I don't understand the delay from Renfrew's end--it takes a single phone call to the BS to confirm your benefit information. It's a wonder that they don't lose referrals. I guess they count on the ambivalence of the prospective admission?????

um, not sure about the time thing.
it says on renfrew's website it could take up to 3 days.
it took s.'s about 3 WEEKS to get straightened out.
my mom has been concerned because i don't know what the deal is (as i've noted, this stuff goes right over my head) but there has been some kind of problem lately that she hadn't yet gotten straightened out, so she is afraid it will mess things up now.
but as i said, thus far there doesn't appear to actually be any specific issue, they're just slow maybe??

heheh, that too perhaps. its funny, now that i've *finally* gone ahead with this, i'm like ok, i don't have the patience for it to drag on *too* long, but i admittedly also don't want it to happen *too* quickly either....
