group got cancelled tuesday.
cindy left me a message about 5pm.
(my phone did that thing it does where it doesn't even ring--
just beeps that i have a VM a few minutes later.)

i guess jen had cancelled.
and being that kate's gone now,
karen's still in iop or maybe day now,
julie is julie--
that left only me.

so cindy's like you can still come if you want +
yaddah yaddah.
i swear that woman's neuron's don't seem to always be firing.
so anyway, i left a message that uh, nah, that's ok.
i'll just see ya in 2 weeks (she's on vacation next week).

last night she left another VM while i was in class--
all apologetic that she was having to tell me this over VM,
she had wanted to talk to us in person,
blah blah,
but she had given notice @ frew,
so the next time group met would be her 2nd to last,
and she didn't want to wait until then,
wanted to give us time to 'process' or something,
and please feel free to call + talk about it,
and on and on and on.
it was the longest-ass message E-VER.

yeah, i'm really going to call--
its such a blow, ya know.

like i said, misfiring neurons.

i mean she's nice enough,
i don't have any particular issue w/ her--
but i don't know if she's 'fake,'
or trying too hard,
or just happens to have a voice/demeanor that puts me off--
but eh, she just doesn't 'speak to me'

anyways, i guess someone will be taking over (supposedly),
she hopes that'll be known before she leaves,
and can 'introduce' us to said person beforehand.

whatever.

i'll wait and see,
but i'm not feeling so committed to sticking around.

the experience thus far hasn't been bad or nothin',
but in no way spectacular either,
so it seems like a good opportunity perhaps to make a graceful exit...
